About Us

We are an unlikely team. We met four years ago when we both were involved with Sarasota's Green Marketplace. Joan was selling fresh cut flowers and Leah was selling her line of natural skincare.

Joan has been a geologist, chef, farmer, editor, florist and now, along with starting Raw Raw Foods, she creates one of a kind vegetable centerpieces which are edible as well as beautiful.

In Leah's past she was a bookseller, fabric manufacturer, photographer and currently, also while starting Raw Raw Foods, still manufactures her line of skincare called Leah's Natural.

We decided to create Raw Raw Foods because we wanted to eat healthier. We feel energized when we eat raw food. It tastes good. We want to share our experience with other people.

Advocating that everyone eat raw is not our intention. What we intend to do is offer the people of downtown Sarasota a healthy, energizing luncheon option, and provide the convenience of delivery to their business or home.  The fact that our foods are so fresh they practically crackle, are largely grown in the area and are mostly organic are added benefits our customers will immediately see and feel.
